Parallax

Parallax, the image processing tool developed by SyQon, is now available for Siril.

Parallax brings a new approach to astronomical image processing, built on neural networks specifically developed and optimized for this task. Among its features, star reduction relies on these networks to deliver more natural and consistent results, even in more aggressive scenarios. The latest version further improves the network responsible for star reduction, with noticeable results in Power 6 and Power 7 modes.

Alongside the main Parallax script available to customers, SyQon has also chosen to make a free version of the Parallax models available, exclusively for Siril: Parallax Nano. It gives Siril users access to the core capabilities of Parallax at no cost, directly within their usual processing workflow.

To get started, download the script from the Siril script repository (Scripts → Get Scripts, then search for “Parallax”) and obtain the required files here: https://syqon.eu/free-parallax-nano
